“Good luck, Mr. Schaffer!”

Mr. Schaffer was a skilled care patient at Edgewood Rehab and Care Center. He admitted to us after a hospitalization for an amputation.

During his stay, physical, occupational and speech therapy were initiated to identify needs and specialize a treatment plan to transition Mr. Schaffer back home.

Mr. Schaffer made great progress throughout his rehabilitative stay, improving strength and balance, and his independence with activities of daily living, and transfers. With the specialized treatment plan, Mr. Schaffer succeeded in meeting his goals and discharged back home with spouse.
